The Third Sunday Luncheon will be May 18th at noon.  It will be in recognition of Delese Philpott’s Graduation from Texas Tech.

There is a list on the piano to sign up for food.  Please bring side items and/or desserts. The church will furnish Fried Chicken.  We hope to see you there!

CLER Ministries

If you are familiar with the Eighters Camp, help is always needed especially as counselors.  To be a part of this, knowledge of what to do is critical to teach the campers.  This is a program that has been happening since 1987.  CLER Ministries "JUST SAY KNOW!" Is a Biblically-Based Sexuality Education Curriculum. The Hi-Plains Region Teacher Training Seminar will be August 15-16 at First Christian Church, Lubbock, TX. Cost of 10 hour training will be $45.00 includes lunch of Saturday.

NURSERY ATTENDANT
We now have three (3) Nursery Attendants; however, there is always room for more. If you would like to be a Nursery Attendant there is a sign up sheet on the piano, or you can call Anne in the church office, she will be glad to put your name down for a particular Sunday. We would like two people per Sunday. If you are unable to be there on a certain Sunday, please do call the church office and let us know so we can get someone else to fill in for you.

Mothers Day! (05-11-08)

A special day to recognize the women who have affected our lives in so many ways.  God Bless all mothers!  Carnations were handed out for the youngest mother, the most senior.....the most grandchildren and for any women who serves in a role of raising children!
